March 19, 2020 - Daily Noon Meditations Beginning March 20
In these days of uncertainty, IMCC is committed to providing whatever support we can to all who may benefit. To this end, we will be offering daily meditations via Zoom at 12 noon, beginning this Friday, March 20. If you've attended our regular Wednesday & Friday sits at Common Ground, the format will likely be familiar to you. We have a number of leaders, each of whom will guide the session uniquely, but here is the general format:
First, there will be an opportunity for participants to simply check in with the group. (No one will be required to speak.) Then the leader will guide a meditation, roughly 20-30 minutes long. We'll finish up with an opportunity for comments, questions, and discussion. Leaders will be online from 12-1, seven days a week. You are welcome to join when you can and stay as long as you like.
As we separate to keep ourselves and others safe, we can take care of ourselves (and our loved ones) by continuing our mindfulness and meditation practices, and by finding connection across the distance. We invite you to join us any day or every day, as it serves you.

Times like these remind us that, wherever we are, we are all profoundly connected - our shared vulnerability, interdependence and care.
We are paying close attention to what is unfolding regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and bringing our full care to what will best serve our community.
