One way to approach meditation and life  is that we're seeing and combating the habits of the mind that create suffering. The habits of greed, anger, delusion, lust, fear, pride, jealousy, whatever, are sometimes called afflictions or defilements because they darken the mind. The Buddha reminds us that the mind is luminous, shining brightly, radiant, available in any moment with a diligent path of practice. Tonight's talk looks at how we might cultivate a plan for battling darkness, to uproot the unwholesome, to free us from the mind's old habits of creating suffering for itself.

All are welcome - newcomers and experienced practitioners alike.
