Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation: 6-WeekClass
IMCC will offer a six-week Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation class open to anyone who is new to meditation or who would like to establish a regular practice of mindfulness and Insight Meditation.
The class will cover introductions to mindfulness of the breath, the body, emotions, and thoughts. There will be instruction, guided practice together, and time for discussion and addressing participants questions. Regular home meditation practice is an integral part of the course.
Cost: $95 which includes a copy of Gil Fronsdal's book The Issue at Hand. No one will be turned away due to insufficient funds. A sliding scale is available.
Schedule: Monday evenings, February 26-April 2.
The first class will be 7-9 pm, and the remainder 7-8:30 pm.
