Jesus, Mindfulness and the Buddha
As we deepen our meditation practice, we encounter the conditioning of our minds by cultural values, attitudes, religious roots etc. In Western culture, Christianity has played a dominant role in shaping our values and beliefs.
How do we relate to the often subtle but strong influence of religious conditioning as well as to our opinions, beliefs and attitudes shaped by this conditioning?
This talk is aimed at supporting an ongoing conversation and exploration of questions and reflections that emerge from our early religious and spiritual roots as we practice mindfulness the path of awakening our hearts and minds.
