This retreat will be devoted to the Cultivation of Tranquility. The ability to sustain a tranquil heart and mind regardless of conditions is the hallmark of a powerful spiritual practice. Tranquility is the foundation for decisive, wise and compassionate action. Its cultivation cannot be understated.  From a base of tranquility one sees more clearly.  From a base of tranquility creativity flows more readily. From a base of tranquility, the practitioner has full access to their natural wisdom and compassion. 

This retreat is suitable for beginners, as well as seasoned meditators.   Full guided instructions will be offered as well as time for Q&A.

Please bring your lunch.  There are comfortable chairs, but bring any meditation pillows etc. that you might prefer.

Cost: $35-$50 sliding scale

No one will be denied the retreat because of lack of funds.
