Practice and Action—Finding a Balance

Teacher: Susan Stone

The divisiveness following the presidential election has sparked urgency among many to become involved in social action. There is also a sense that mindfulness and other spiritual practices stand somewhat at odds with action—too much self-centeredness, not enough attention to others. Tonight, following a guided meditation, Susan explores this assumption, its truths and its oversights, and discusses why it is important to find a balance between practice and action. An evening for all, whether you’re new to spiritual practice or a seasoned practitioner.
