The 8-week MBSR course is experiential; it includes instruction in sitting meditation, mindfulness practices of eating, walking, movement, and kindness. You will learn how to return to the present moment, and how to make conscious choices rather than react unconsciously to stressors.
This program is experiential and interactive. For greatest effectiveness, a commitment to 30-40 minutes of daily practice and regular attendance, including the daylong retreat, is strongly recommended.
