Crossing Life's Floods: Thoughts on Social Engagement

Teacher: Sharon Beckman-Brindley

“The breath is moving, but that which knows the breath is not moving.”
                                                                                               Ajahn Amaro

Our entire practice is about learning how to navigate life's floods: the challenges - both internal and external - that seem to threaten our peaceful and joyful mind and heart. This evening's practice will extend last week's dharma talk; we will consider issues around social engagement and action even more directly as we contemplate how to make choices about both when and how we engage with the external weather systems of our daily life.

Joining Sharon in her talk (in order you will hear them): Bev Wann, Dave Auble, Susan Stone, Phil Schrodt, and Ann Marie Smith.
