Dear Families,
We hope you are all well and staying sane and healthy in this long, strange night of the soul that is an election year in the time of a pandemic.
We are doing our best to do the same. Part of what has been helpful is knowing that our friends are still the same, and share our concerns. Last month we had a wonderful time at Patricia Ann Byrom Forest Preserve Park, all outside, socially distancing but still able to interact, have fun, and become more attuned to the Elements, as found in the Buddhist tradition.
And so we are happy to announce our next Sunday School meeting for Sunday, November 1st at 2pm. So please save the date in your calendar!
We haven't quite settled on the venue yet for the upcoming meeting, but it could well be at the same park. We will send out an email as soon as we know more. We are also planning to host a campfire social meeting at Lars and Emily Holmstrom's house very soon, to roast marshmallows and just socially connect -- again from the right distance, and with masks as people desire. We haven't decided on that date either, but will let you know ASAP.
