Cultivating Tranquility: The Foundation of Practice
This will be the second in a series emphasizing Tranquility. However, attendance at Part 1 is not necessary to enjoy and benefit from this evening.
For a spiritual practice to offer deep personal transformation it must be rooted in tranquility. A calm heart and mind allows a clarity of seeing that affords one greater skillfulness, creativity and joy in all aspects of life.
In the instructions tonight we will emphasize aspects of meditation that promote tranquility. After the guided practice Pat will offer a discourse on the foundational aspects of tranquility.
Join us to explore this restorative practice that offers immense support for our challenging lives.
IMCC meets every Tuesday evening for a period of guided meditation and a talk by one of IMCC's experienced meditation teachers. The program is designed to be friendly and of interest to people with no meditation experience as well as more advanced practitioners.
