A Daylong Retreat with Ven. Pannavati June 21

Enjoy a rare opportunity to spend a full day in meditation and inquiry with Ven. Pannavati, a Buddhist monk ordained in the Theravada and Mahayana traditions. She is known for her work with homeless youth in Appalachia and her ministry to the "untouchables" in India.

Pannavati offers us the opportunity to explore the divisions in our own hearts and minds that create a sense of separation in ourselves and in the world. She invites us to cultivate qualities of compassion and wisdom for our well-being and that of the world.

Registration fee: $30 (check payable to IMCC or cash only on Saturday morning; no credit cards - except for online/website registration)

No one will be turned away; please contact the retreat manager if you need to make other arrangements.

Dana - please consider the value of the teachings when offering dana (a Pali word meaning generosity) to Pannavati on Saturday. Thank you.

What to bring on Saturday - a cushion if you'd like to sit on the floor, beverage and/or water and bag lunch.

Questions? Please contact: Cynthia Power, retreat manager, at cjpower@ntelos.net.
