St. Patrick's Day:

What Could This Cultural Celebration Possibly Have To Do With Your Meditation Practice And Well Being?

With Pat Coffey

The historical struggle of the Irish people is emblematic of all struggles of the exploited, disenfranchised and poor throughout time.

St. Patrick's Day can be more than good music, Irish jokes and green beer.  It can be a time to reflect on the true causes of cruelty perpetrated on one group by another.

The Buddha's teachings can help us understand the shadow side of human history.  A shadow that is repeatedly played out internationally, nationally and personally in our relationships with each other.....and in our relationship with ourselves.

The good news is that there is the possibility of liberation from this seemingly endless human drama.

Come join us to explore this possibility of freedom, harmony and joy.

IMCC meets every Tuesday evening for a period of guided meditation and a talk by one of IMCC's experienced meditation teachers. The program is designed to be friendly and of interest to people with no meditation experience as well as more advanced practitioners.
