An Exploration of Buddhist Meditation Practice with Pat Coffey
Health researchers, brain scientists and a majority of psychologists’ tout meditation as a worthy aspect of a personal wellness program. You can consider meditation as a software program that can run on any hard drive. Meaning that whatever religious belief system or non-religious belief you attune to can be coupled without conflict to a form of meditation practice.
Tonight, we’ll explore the scope of Buddhist meditation practices….what they are designed to address and what differentiates them from other forms. It will be an evening of experience. You’ll be guided in a practice that can help you to deal with difficult emotions. You will also be guided in a practice that supports establishing tranquility of heart and mind. And finally, you will be guided in a practice that engenders connecting with all of creation.
