When the Barn Burns, continued

with Susan Stone

Continuing the theme of her last talk, Susan, referencing medieval Japanese poet Masahede, observes that the barn is burning.  Masahede saw the moon when his barn burnt. Amidst the ongoing tumult of the current crises in the U.S., our reactions and moods can swing wildly. Seeing the moon can seem mere whimsy.  In a talk following a guided meditation, Susan highlights how the Dharma both points our way to kind sanity and possibly to moon-sighting as well as enables us to authentically show up in life.
