It's Like This Now, Part 3
Guided Meditation and Dharma Talk
with Sharon Beckman-Brindley
"Strictly speaking, there is no such thing as an enlightened person. There is only enlightened activity." Shunryu Suzuki
As we live in our chaotic modern world, we can be dismayed and overwhelmed at times by the obvious limitations, vulnerabilities, confusions and downright mistakes we see in ourselves or others. We can hope to find somewhere a final understanding of ancient spiritual practices and how these might interface with the turbulence of our own daily lives and relationships.
Of course.
In this evening’s talk - Part 3 of a series - we will continue to explore the Buddha’s profound teachings on kindness and compassion as they intersect with understandings of ordinary psychological development and human relationship. As before, we will explore together the need for wise and personal discernment as we each find our own unique spiritual path.
