The systemic racism that was the underpinning of slavery continues to this day. We will look at racism through the lens of the Dharma and explore one family’s legacy of slave-holding and the intergenerational racism that it produced. A Dharma-informed confrontation of that legacy will be addressed. A short video will be shown to introduce a story of reconciliation between a descendent of enslaved persons and a descendent of those who enslaved them.
