Guided Meditation and Dharma Talk
with Sharon Beckman-Brindley
The mystical insight of all of the great spiritual traditions is that the surface appearance of things, while functional and useful in its own way, is not the end of the story. There is beautiful guidance for a personal spiritual practice that allows us to remember, touch into, and happily live into the truth of the deep inseparability and the fundamentally loving and basic goodness of every aspect of our being, indeed of all being.
In this evening's talk, we will once again bring curiosity to the paradox of our daily living in both the difficulties of form and the spacious beauty of emptiness. We will explore together the Buddha's teachings on living an active life of wise speech and action even as we rest at ease with all of life's many storms.
