Newcomers' Tea, 4th Noble Truth--Voices from the Community
When
10 Apr 2012
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM (EDT)
Location
JABA, 674 Hillsdale Drive, Cv 22901
Tonight we will have tea and snacks to welcome newcomers to our community. The tea begins at 7pm--please come and join us. At 7:30 our regular Tuesday night meeting begins and will be led by Susan Stone. A period of guided meditation will be followed by a talk, "The 4th Noble Truth--Voices from the Community." Continuing our exploration of the 4 Noble Truths, the most basic of the Buddha's teachings, members of our community will share their experiences and insights around aspects of the 4th Noble Truth or the Noble 8-Fold Path. This is the path outlined by the Buddha, consisting of 8 elements which if followed lead to awakening, peace and happiness. A program for all, whether you consider yourself new to a spiritual path or an old-timer.
