IMPACT House Meeting

  • Helene Freiman’s home near Pantops

IMPACT is gearing up for a new season of social action. IMPACT’s mission is to
empower the faith communities of greater Charlottesville to create significant social change through unified direct action. IMCC’s participation this year will again be co-led by Helene Freiman and Nancy-Elizabeth Nimmich.

As the first part of the yearly cycle, IMCC will be hosting “house meetings” to
reconnect with one another and share our concerns for the communities of the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County. The 26 other faith communities that make up our local IMPACT will be holding similar meetings. One of our house meetings will be held at Nancy-Elizabeth’s home in Crozet on Wednesday afternoon, September 20th at 3 PM. The other will be at Helene Freiman’s home near Pantops on the evening of Wednesday, September 27th at 7 P.M.

Please join us in this community wide effort which builds strong relationships across racial, ethnic, and socio-economic lines to significantly address local community problems at their source.

For more information or to RSVP to attend one of the house meetings, contact Nancy-Elizabeth Nimmich at nen1730@yahoo.com.
