Tonight, at 7 PM at the Church of the Incarnation, IMPACT, an interfaith local social justice organization, of which IMCC is a member, will be holding a Rally. The major reason for people to attend this Rally is to show the city councilors attending that there are large numbers of people who believe the public transportation system needs to be made more efficient so carbon emissions can be reduced from cars that are contributing to the climate crisis. City Counselors will be asked to commit to adding in the new budget, 11 more drivers and 6 new buses to help bring wait times to 15 minutes on two major bus routes (5 and 7) in Charlottesville.
