HOMEGROWN and NATIVE:

Making a world of difference in our own backyards

As a community we are deepening our connection with the non-human world and hearing more clearly the call to respond with compassion. Join us to learn more about how we can support life by planting natives on our patios, in our yards or out in our fields. We will watch a recent video from Doug Tallamy (who presents a science-based solution to the biodiversity crisis and explains why this is so urgent), hear from local native plant experts, share info about local nurseries and landscapers and offer you a chance to purchase native plants from Little Blue Stem nursery. It is a great time of year to plant. Beginners, seasoned gardeners and everyone in between are welcome. Come! Bring your questions, stories of your experiences with natives and bring a friend. Together we can make a world of difference.
