Join Sharon and Laura for a Spring non-residential retreat in the beautiful Virginia countryside as we explore how our Buddhist practices support us in contemplating death, both in daily life and in preparation for the hour of our own very inevitable and actual death. We will together explore the infinite ways that life invites us daily to let go and die, not into an abyss but into the pure light of awareness and presence and goodness with – simply - how things are in this wondrous human journey.
We will practice silent meditation and, together, the contemplations of Insight Dialogue in which we will explore our moment-to-moment experience while meditating in dialogue with others. This practice allows us to perceive and understand things that are normally overlooked by our conceptual minds in the busyness of life. Meditating together, we come to know and to release these habits of our minds and we find there is nowhere to be but here. There is nothing to fix and no self-improvement project is necessary. 100% of proceeds from this retreat are being donated to IMCC by Sharon and Laura in support of fundraising. There will be not Dana requested.
