Mindfulness Meditation Workshop for New(er) Practitioners
This introductory program will help new practitioners cultivate their mindfulness practice, and offer an opportunity for more experienced practitioners to refresh their practice. The 3-hour workshop includes exploration of the intention behind practice, an introduction to insight meditation techniques, tips for working with common obstacles, an overview of the practice of lovingkindness, and a discussion about how mindfulness can be part of one’s daily life. There will be ample opportunity to practice together, and share reflections on the meditation experience.
