Formal Taking of Precepts Ceremony & Celebration

  • We are happy to invite you to take the 5 Precepts in a ceremony on April 17th.
    Taking the precepts is an ancient ceremony that acknowledges your sincere intention to continue inquiring and refining your ethics in all aspects of your life.......your thoughts, speech and actions.
    The ceremony will be brief, simple and meaningful. Immediately afterward there will be a community pot luck celebration.

    Even if you do not wish to participate in the Precepts ceremony at this time please come and celebrate the day with your friends.
    All family and friends are welcome.

    Place: Dale Abrahamse and Linda Cappachione's home 387 Rocky Hollow Road Charlottesville 22901

    Directions: From 250, go north on Rt 20. Go 2.2 miles to right turn on Rocky Hollow Road (Rt 769).
    Then go 1.1 miles on Rocky Hollow Road to drive on left with mailbox
    with our names on it. Turn left into drive and then left again to
    victorian style house on hill.
