"Suffering: Letting Go - On the Cushion and in our Daily Life"
continued: PART 2,  The Second Characteristic

(See PART 1 -- "Impermanence", Nov. 4, 2014, under Holly Balow Robedeau on the IMCC Talks page.)

Buddha's teachings on the Three Characteristics were introduced as a Path to Liberation and reiterated in many of his subsequent teachings. Andrew Olendski ,a Buddhist Scholar, refers to these as the "The three core insights of the of the Buddhist tradition".  Nyanponika states "Ignorance of these three, is by itself, a potent cause for suffering".  In this talk we will briefly review our discussion of November 4, 2014 on the First Characteristic, Impermanence, and then focus on the Second Characteristic, Suffering.

This week's teacher: Holly Balow Robedeau
