Dharma Contemplation: Releasing Shame and Self-Criticism

  • 11 Aug 2015
  • 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
  • JABA, 674 Hillsdale Drive, Charlottesville
This evening's session will offer a period of group Dharma Contemplation. We will, together, read and contemplate a teaching on self-care and kindness offered by  Geshe Langri Tangpa, a twelfth century Tibetan teacher.

Dharma Contemplation is a simple contemplative practice that enables us to receive and enter deeply into the teachings, allowing them to open into healing for our minds and hearts.

IMCC meets every Tuesday evening for a period of guided meditation and a talk by one of IMCC's experienced meditation teachers.  The program is designed to be friendly and of interest to people with no meditation experience as well as more advanced practitioners.

This week's teacher:  Sharon Beckman-Brindley
