The Buddha describes the fruit of our meditation practice as "a heart unshaken" when in contact with the world. To reach that clarity and spaciousness, he offers wise guidance: where to put our attention, what to practice, where to let go. The teaching helps us to learn that it is not what happens, but how we pay attention that matters. In this evening's talk, we'll explore this quality of wise attention as a guide and support for our own unshaken hearts.

IMCC meets every Tuesday evening for a period of guided meditation and a talk by one of IMCC's experienced meditation teachers.  The program is designed to be friendly and of interest to people with no meditation experience as well as more advanced practitioners.

This week's teacher:  Sharon Beckman-Brindley
