Awakening the Collective Heart
Becoming awake is an inner and outer spiritual journey that from the Buddha’s teachings, asks us to follow a committed practice of mindfulness and compassion. It is not an easy path and requires choices not necessarily easy to make. As we open our hearts and minds to the roots of suffering, we become more aware of the interconnection and interdependency of all life. The heart naturally breaks open to the pain of our own suffering and to that of the world.
Reconnecting with the sacredness of life opens us not only to the heartbreak but also to the love, compassion and healing necessary to navigate these alarming times. Allowing our hearts to shatter, opens us to new possibilites.
