  • JABA 674 Hillsdale Drive Charlottesville

In this evening’s talk, guest teacher Janet Surrey, co-author of The Buddha’s Wife: The Path of Awakening Together, will explore a relational path which has been largely invisible and undeveloped in traditional Buddhist practice. She will offer a healing vision of the potential for our relationships and how we, as a community and individuals, can awaken together.

Janet Surrey, Ph.D., is a recognized teacher of Insight Dialogue meditation as taught by Gregory Kramer. She lives in the Boston area and is on the Faculty and Board of the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy. She is also a Founding Scholar of the Jean Baker Miller Training Institute at the Wellesley College Stone Center.

IMCC meets every Tuesday evening for a period of guided meditation and a talk by one of IMCC's experienced meditation teachers.  The program is designed to be friendly and of interest to people with no meditation experience as well as more advanced practitioners.
