The Buddha famously offered teaching on suffering and the way to end all suffering. The Noble Eightfold Path is at the very heart of these teachings, offering guidance that challenges us to bring the teachings fully alive in our ordinary and everyday practice.
This evening's talk will address wise concentration as the ground of insight. We will focus on the joy that arises with wise concentration which energizes investigation, leads to calm, and deepens equanimity.
IMCC meets every Tuesday evening for a period of guided meditation and a talk by one of IMCC's experienced meditation teachers. The program is designed to be friendly and of interest to people with no meditation experience as well as more advanced practitioners.
