Our teachers, Allie Rudolph and Pat Coffey have recently participated in retreat with Roshi Bernie Glassman at his Auschwitz/Birkenau Bearing Witness Retreat.
After pizza and salad, Allie and Pat will show the film “Raising the Ashes,” a film about the retreats, and lead a discussion about the bearing witness experience. The film has a strong focus on the Zen Peacemakers’ three tenets: Not-Knowing, Bearing Witness, and Loving Action. Click on link above to preview the film.
