Connecting With Your Bodhisattva Heart

A half-day, online retreat with Susan Stone

May 16, 2020, from 9:30 to noon on Zoom

(registration is required)

Even now as the world is gripped by virus and fear, when economies are shaking and the future is unknown, bodhisattvas abound. They are found in hospitals, nursing facilities, and at home where parents are homeschooling children while putting food on the table and perhaps trying to work as well. They are in grocery stores stocking shelves, singing from balconies, sewing face masks, and in your heart. A bodhisattva is anciently described as one who hears the cries of the world. To find a bodhisattva, we need only look within. Beneath our fears, the heart naturally resonates with suffering. It naturally beats in tenderness. This half-day, online retreat will focus on connecting with the bodhisattva heart and exploring how it calls each of us. The retreat will include periods of sitting and walking meditation, a dharma talk, and group discussion.

Variable-rate registration-$10/20/30. We can offer financial assistance if needed. Please contact Judy Harmon: opsdirector@imeditation.org. The zoom meeting link will be provided to registered participants prior to the event.
