Understanding Fear And How To Work With It
All humans experience fear...it comes with the territory. Tonight we will explore the elements of fear and how to skillfully navigate these sometimes powerful energies.
Aung San Suu Kyi, the Burmese Nobel Peace Prize Winner and pro-democracy leader said this:
The only real prison is fear.
The only real freedom is freedom from fear.
A nuanced understanding of the realm of fear is essential to freedom from it. Our meditation practice offers us the understanding and the means to reduce and ultimately free ourselves from the limiting press of fear.
This is our regular Tuesday meeting which offers a guided meditation followed by the talk and discussion. The evening is suitable for both seasoned and beginning meditators.
Pat Coffey will lead this session.
