We hope you are all well, enjoying this beautiful Fall weather, and starting to enjoy a little more social life. Continuing with the Autumn schedule, we are going to meet next Sunday on the 21st, at Linda's Capacchione's house again, 387 Rocky Hollow Drive, same time at 2pm.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we will do some mindful baking of cookies, a mindful walk outside in the garden, and a very simple offering.
We have been talking about wanting to incorporate a little more intro to Buddhism in general for the kids, and so this time we are planning to speak a little bit about who and what the Buddha is, and represents, and a little about offerings as a way of showing gratitude.
As the kids are still in the process of getting vaccinated, and acting out of an abundance of caution, we will ask everyone to wear masks indoors while we are baking, and then outdoors we will leave it up to the individual to decide. We may also do a bonfire again, as the spirit moves us.
