Hybrid Sangha Meeting

Guided Meditation & Dharma Talk

with Susan Stone

What Is Meditation and Why Do We Do it?

“What is meditation” and “why do we do it” may sound like unnecessary questions in a community where meditation is a central activity and some have been meditating for years.

In this talk, Susan follows the direction in which the Buddha was pointing when he said “Come, find it true for yourself.” She traces the natural evolution of meditation beyond formal practices into the simplicity of being what we already are. The talk shows why, in these urgent times, responding to the world’s call from the fullness of being is more critical than ever.

In-person participants:

  • Are required to wear masks in the building at all times.
  • Show proof of vaccination upon initial check in.
  • Name tags will be marked so that you do not have to show proof each week.

A parking lot is located on the north side of Edgewood Lane. Enter the building through the side entrance, also on Edgewood Lane, across from parking lot.
