Tonight we will, once again, look into the Eightfold Path in our nine-part series on the 4th Noble Truth. Wise Speech is the third factor of the Eightfold Path and is frequently grouped as an ethics factor with Wise Action and Wise Livelihood. The practice of Wise Speech has a profound impact on our relationships with those around us, and with ourselves. Since much of how we communicate is habituated, we may be unaware of the depth of this impact. The invitation is to uncover, through awareness, the ripple that is created by what we express.
