Homegrown and Native

Making a world of difference right in your own backyard

Join us to celebrate the promise of Spring, contemplate the needs of our natural world and explore together the importance of planting natives in our own home landscapes.

This inspiring and informative evening will include a video of Doug Tallamy sharing doable actions we can all take, a speaker with lots of native plant experience, a guide to local resources and chances to network. We will learn together about impactful ways we can attend to the wellbeing of all creatures right in our own spaces.

If you have access to a patio, deck or yard and are looking for a way to contribute to the restoration of our planet - this is for you!

Please come and bring a friend. Green thumbs AND purple thumbs are welcome!

We will be giving away native tree saplings, serving light refreshments and selling copies of the guide book, Piedmont Native Plants

This is a free IMCC sponsored event open to all.
