Guided Meditation & Dharma Talk with Susan Stone

Speaking from her own experience, Susan discusses the resistance to aspects of the Buddha’s teachings that many practitioners run up against. These range from hierarchical and patriarchal elements reflected in the teachings to concepts for which our own cultural conditioning has not prepared us. She normalizes these reactions and tries to demystify terms. A guided meditation offered before the talk and an exercise during the talk promote glimpses into one of these terms—no-self.
