Come join Geshe Gyatso, a Tibetan monk, at Riverview Park as he blesses the land and the beautiful rock circle that has been created as a meditation space for all to share. As we celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Universal Human Rights Day, we recognize that how we relate to the earth and all the beings living on it with us shapes our capacity to find peace and harmony among ourselves. Geshe Gyatso, a Bön Buddhist monk will consecrate the space and guide us in a short mediation. Afterwards, we will have members of different meditation communities gift their prayers for the world and our troubled times on this blessed land.
*Light snacks and tea will be provided, yet we also encourage you to bring something to share if you like!
