Community Service Opportunity
Faith Build is an annual February event sponsored by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville designed to provide a unique service project for members of faith communities. Volunteers work alongside those from other faith communities to build Habitat-sponsored homes for and with Habitat's Partner Families.
This is an opportunity to serve our local community and do work that helps alleviate the critical lack of affordable housing for lower-income individuals and families. Faith Build describes this as "an activist opportunity to do housing justice in a satisfyingly hands-on way and helps us love our neighbors by building interfaith understanding and stronger community networks."
Let's put together an IMCC team to volunteer on Saturday, February 10. The shift is from 8:45-3:30.
