Great Leaders: The Inspirational Lives of Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela and How Their Example Can Support Our Own Awakening
"Don't follow leaders, watch your parking meters", is a line from the Bob Dylan song Subterranean Homesick Blues and is generally a wise dictum. But there are exceptions….. Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela are two worthy exceptions.
On January 20th we celebrated the life of MLK and recently the passing of Nelson Mandela encouraged the entire world to reflect on a quality of leadership seldom seen through the annals of history.
Tonight we will explore the components such extraordinary leadership and how those examples can support our own internal peace, freedom and awakening,
IMCC meets every Tuesday evening for a period of guided meditation and a talk by one of IMCC's experienced meditation teachers. The program is designed to be friendly and of interest to people with no meditation experience as well as more advanced practitioners.
