Compassion as a Way of Being
When
18 Mar 2014
7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Location
JABA
Compassion is not a surge of emotion nor can it be produced on demand. What qualities can we cultivate that incline the heart toward compassion? How do we understand compassion as the embodiment of wisdom? The talk will look at wisdom and compassion as the two wings of a bird - both essential for a bird to soar, both essential for our hearts to open.
All are welcome this evening for meditation and the talk.
