The Buddha speaks of the  "sharp pointed knives in our hearts" that lead to the sufferings of struggle and conflict. One of these "knives" can be our deep attachments to our own views that can lead to much rancor and discord. In this evening's talk, we will explore the presence of these sorts of views and attachments and we will inquire together into ways of cultivating the freedom that our meditation practice offers.

IMCC meets every Tuesday evening for a period of guided meditation and a talk by one of IMCC's experienced meditation teachers.  The program is designed to be friendly and of interest to people with no meditation experience as well as more advanced practitioners.

This week's teacher:  Sharon Beckman-Brindley
