Leigh Brasington
one of the world's leading teachers of the jhanas (non-ordinary states of consciousness), will be IMCC's guest teacher tonight. He will follow up on the day-long retreat on the 27th with a talk on "Mindfulness, Insight and Jhana." Leigh will explore these topics and how they are connected. He will identify the different practices involved in mindfulness and jhana, and the discuss the role of insight in deepening spiritual practice. Leigh's gentle humor and informal manner illuminate his talks. There will be a period of guided meditation and time to ask Leigh questions. An evening for all, whether you're new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner.
